Dick’s Sporting Goods has a replacement plan for their shoes. For less than $9, you can add a year of coverage on top of the one month that the store provides. So if the shoes break or whatever, you can get them replaced for free. 

A few years ago, I would have thought this was ridiculous. The only reason I ever bought new tennis shoes is because my feet outgrew my old ones or because the popular styles had changed or because mine were just starting to look a little rough. Never because they were broken or anything. So who on earth could completely destroy a pair of tennis shoes in a year?

My husband. That’s who. lol. I have never been so excited about buying tennis shoes for him as I was tonight when I saw that replacement plan. And trust me, we will get our money’s worth out of it. =)
